La Botanica Azúl Healing Arts & Counseling is a heart project that houses medicines and wisdoms that center mental health in our preventative care by working collaboratively with the person to bring balance to their overall well being. We offer a range of products in small batches and make intentional relationships with the medicine makers. We offer traditional medicine, education, healing consults and other services. We dream of building a sustainable space that houses the traditional wisdoms of Indigenous, Black, Queer, Trans, and People of Color practitioners.

Celebrating Mental Health awareness month we center the LGBTQI2+ Two Spirit communities with a cup of té de buganvilla; it is one of the favorites in LBA!Buganvilla comes in many colors such purple, pink, red and probably some other colores. It is used as a fertility control among the indigenous people in many countries. Furthermore, it has been shown to possess anticancer, anti-diabetic, anti-hepatotoxic, anti-inflammatory, anti-hyperlipidemic, antimicrobial, antioxidant, and antiulcer properties. You use it as tea, in tinctures and others forms for healing support. Moreover, it looks beautiful outside your porch!
