“Healers that Help me Heal” were a series of virtual live events that covered topics such as medicina tradicional, humor, food, sacred sex, community activism all through the lens of mental health and all during the early stages of the pandemic when no one really knew the magnitude of grief ahead of us. These platicas now serve as an archive of sorts documenting a moment in our history when we were called to pull deep within our sacred spaces and utilize these ancient wisdoms and teachings in order to be able to come together as a community and keep ourselves and each other mentally well. These platicas birthed out of a time of need will continue on, engaging with many more community members and their wisdoms.
